1. Seeking is done
with all the heart; there is no partial seeking.
Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt
find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
2 Chronicles 31:21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of
God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with
all his heart, and prospered.
Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him
with the whole heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me
with all your heart.

2. Seeking God leads
to gladness and a rejoicing heart. It becomes a delight to those who seek
Him.
1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that
seek the LORD.
Psalm 40:16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee

Isaiah 58:2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways,...they take

3. Seeking is
associated with prayer and turning from wickedness
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked
ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal
their land.

God hearing, forgiving and healing circumstances

6. Not seeking the
Lord is considered evil and wicked

Psalm 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek
after God:
